This is the third time Coogan and Rudd have been on screen together, as they’ve previously worked together on “Night at the Museum” and “Our Idiot Brother.” But perhaps the movie will be the second-time director Andrew Fleming and Coogan share a flop together. Fleming’s the filmmaker behind the notorious “Hamlet 2,” a movie that was sold for – at the time – the most movie a film had ever been sold for at the Sundance Film Festival. Then, of course, it went on to become an infamous dud. Making matters worse, this film that you haven’t heard of has no U.S. release date, but apparently already had its world premiere at the 2018 Mardi Gras Film Festival and opens in Australia on June 21 which seems…. odd. Maybe this is one of those pictures that just goes under the radar. Perhaps that’s best for everyone concerned. Or not? Watch below and feel free to weigh in with something more optimistic.
