The drama is set during Korea’s Joseon Era and follows strange rumours concerning the king that have been spreading.

The Joseon Dynasty was a Korean dynastic kingdom that lasted for approximately five centuries.

The crown prince emerges as the kingdom’s only hope against a plague that is turning people into violent zombie killers.



When will Kingdom season 2 be released on Netflix?

No official release date has been announced for Kingdom season two. Production is due to begin this February, according to website KoreanFilm.or.kr. The publication reports that shooting is expected to last until June of this year. So season two could potentially be released around this time next year.

he show’s main cast, including Joo Ji Hoon, Bae Doo Na, Ryu Seung Ryong attended their first script reading for season two earlier this month.

They were joined by Park Byung Eun, Kim Tae Hoon, and others who will be playing new characters for the upcoming outing.

It was written by Kim Eun-hee and directed by Kim Seong-hun.

The drama currently holds an 89 per cent rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
