It begins in Amman, at an airport in Jordan. A woman wearing a hijab boards a plane and the person accompanying her tells her it's all going to be all right. The aircraft goes through heavy turbulence and the lights go out.

The captain declares that the aircraft has an engine problem, so they need to land in Tehran. A couple are distressed on the plane and tell the cabin crew they're Israeli and they can't land in Tehran or they're going to be arrested. The cabin crew demand that the couple must leave or they will be physically removed when the plane lands.

The suspense can be felt as this couple fears for their lives through what seems to be an emergency landing. This is a sharp start to the season. They are immediately asked for their passports when the couple boards the plane.

They are escorted away by the couple. The woman with the hijab, meanwhile, swaps clothes with a flight attendant; Tamar is the woman now dressed as the flight attendant.

They have an alert from Tehran airport at the Israeli headquarters that they will have the codes later and they assume Tamar can handle it. The couple (now called Shira and Yoni) are taken into a room back at the airport. Shira informs Toni that the flight attendant from the base was remembered by her. As tensions rise, the plot already intricately ties characters together.

While out with his wife, Faraz receives a call about two Israelis who have arrived at Tehran airport and are being held in a special section. In the meantime, Tamar gets into a taxi and drives through Tehran, seeing a man hanging in the middle of the city and being tearful.

I believe this scene reveals that, despite Tamar's ability to spy, she is still not desensitized to aggression.

Tamar walks into a house and a man shows her the space in which she'll be living. She rings and updates Israel's headquarters. HQ is curious if anyone knew she was switching at the airport.
