Quite a long time ago, Sony Pictures was riding high on their gathering of Spider-Man properties; with "The Amazing Spider-Man" establishment going all out (no joke proposed), Sony's higher-ups were arranging an interconnected universe they trusted would match that of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Plans were set up for an "Evil Six" collaborate film, a "Dark Cat" motion picture, and even, past thinking, an Aunt May starting point story.

Presently, just a bunch of years after the fact, with Spider-Man under Kevin Feige's control, the main remainder of these arranged movies is "Venom."
