The storyline of “Hell Fest” is easy to digest. A group of teens/young people goes to their annual Halloween carnival, and while there, they get hunted down by a mysterious person in a mask.

There are a few funny gags in the trailer, like our heroes watching a friend get murdered, thinking it’s part of the act.

However, the bulk of the trailer is just your typical screaming, running, and begging for help that is in every horrible horror movie that gets released nowadays.

Regardless, if you like this sort of thing (i.e. – typical slasher films with young actors), then “Hell Fest” is probably something to keep an eye on. However, if you’re someone coming off the high of “Hereditary” and need a little more from your horror films, this might not be your cup of tea.

A masked serial killer turns a horror themed amusement park into his own personal playground, terrorizing a group of friends while the rest of the patrons believe that it is all part of the show. College student NATALIE (Forsyth) is visiting her childhood best friend BROOKE (Edwards) and her roommate TAYLOR (Taylor-Klaus). If it was any other time of year these three and their boyfriends might be heading to a concert or bar, but it is Halloween which means that like everyone else they will be bound for HELL FEST – a sprawling labyrinth of rides, games, and mazes that travels the country and happens to be in town.
