Marvel TV is in a strange place at this moment. With Marvel Studios (the film side) shaking up the MCU significantly, on account of "Vindicators: Infinity War," Marvel TV is left to get the pieces and do all that it can to remain important. Exacerbating that issue is the general low nature of the majority of Marvel's ongoing TV ventures. What's more, Marvel TV head Jeph Loeb is at the front line of harm control.

In an ongoing Reddit AMA, he said that the shows "happen BEFORE" the finish of 'Vastness War.' And as somebody who clearly doesn't know when to stop, Loeb undermined that the Inhuman Royal Family (from the shocking ABC appear) could fly up at some point or another in another Marvel TV venture.

Obviously, Marvel TV is at a defining moment. Which conveys us to Netflix and the up and coming arrival of "Luke Cage" season 2. The Netflix/Marvel indicates have been consistently declining in quality, and fans are beginning to demonstrate some worry. What's more, if the latest trailer for 'Pen' is any sign, things aren't turning upward.

The last trailer for "Luke Cage" is strangely missing Luke Cage. On the off chance that you had never observed the show and watched this trailer, you wouldn't not be right to expect the arrangement was about Alfre Woodard's Mariah Dillard endeavoring to spare Harlem from the Bushmaster (not the best name on the planet). It isn't until the point that the most recent 20 seconds or so Cage has anything of substance to add to the recording.

Maybe Netflix is simply endeavoring to publicity up Woodard's character for the new season, much as they improved the situation Mahershala Ali in season 1 (down to ripping off the Biggie crown painting shot), yet what it truly feels like is that the gushing administration is making light of the Marvel-ness of the show for the wrongdoing dramatization perspectives. Try not to get befuddled, there's as yet impenetrable men and super quality, however what you truly observe is that there's a touch of "The Wire" and "Domain" tossed in for good measure (and that is being liberal to "Luke Cage").

With "Press Fist" being frightful, "Protectors" being meh, and "Jessica Jones" season 2 being a major disappointment, the Netflix/Marvel bargain is beginning to demonstrate its age. Perhaps it's the ideal opportunity for Loeb and whatever is left of Marvel TV to truly separate from itself from the MCU and take a stab at something new and extraordinary.

However, hello, if this new trailer for "Luke Cage" hits all the correct notes for you, the new season debuts on Netflix on June 22.
