Featuring Tom Hardy in the main part, "Venom" takes after Eddie Brock, a diligent columnist who, after an unsuccessful meeting with the degenerate Dr. Carlton Drake (played by Riz Ahmed), apparently ends up contaminated with a "symbiote," subsequently making a substitute being named Venom. Despite the fact that it doesn't uncover much, here's the official outline:
