It's not a blending that would quickly strike a chord, however we need to concede we're interested by the mix of executive Brad Anderson ("Session 9," "Vanishing On seventh Street") and screenwriter Tony Gilroy ("Michael Clayton," the 'Bourne' arrangement). Hurl in an entirely top notch cast, and '70s government operative interest, and we're, extremely inquisitive to perceive how this will all turn out.

"Beirut" stars Jon Hamm, Rosamund Pike, Dean Norris, Larry Pine, and Shea Whigham in the tale of a U.S. representative who is maneuvered once again vigorously by the CIA, despite the fact that the genuine truth of the mission escapes him. Here's the official summary:

Bricklayer Skiles (Jon Hamm), a best U.S. representative, left Lebanon in the 1970s after an appalling occurrence. After ten years, the CIA gets back to him to a war-torn Beirut with a mission no one but he can achieve. In the mean time, a CIA field specialist who is working covert at the American government office is entrusted with keeping Skiles alive and guaranteeing that the mission is a win. Without knowing who is his ally and with lives on hold, Skiles must defeat everybody to uncover reality.

"Beirut" will influence its debut at the Sundance To film Festival, and opens on April 13TH thirteenth.
