The recent releases from Pussy Riot follow the arrest of four individuals on July 15 after they rushed the field at the World Cup 2018 Final.
The pitch invasion, which protested Russia’s policing practices, came with a list of demands including the release of political prisoners.
The members were later sentenced to 15 days in Russian jail; the next day, Pussy Riot released “Track About Good Cop” and demanded their release.
Earlier 2018, Pussy Riot shared more new music: “Elections” (timed to Russia’s presidential election in March) and “Bad Apples,” a collaboration with Dave Sitek.
