Eminem Takes Break From Nick Cannon Feud, Tweets Souls Of Mischief Lyrics At André 3000.

André 3000 has recalled how he and Eminem used to enjoy nerding out over classic hip-hop together.

In a recent interview, André 3000 shared how he and Eminem have recited Hieroglyphics lyrics to each other.

The Oakland collective features all four members of Souls of Mischief.

Rather than respond to Nick Cannon‘s latest diss track against him, Eminem has tweeted Souls of Mischief lyrics at André 3000, an activity that 3000 recently shared the pair have engaged in before.

In his recent interview with Rick Rubin, 3000 talked about the Hieroglyphics‘ influence on him and proceeded to share how Eminem and him once had a phone conversation where they recited raps from the Oakland rap collective to each other.
Quote
“Me and Eminem, we sat on the phone for about an hour talking about Hieroglyphics crew,” he said. “We were trading their lyrics on the phone like, ‘Do you remember, man?’ They sparked so much, they opened up a new door for everybody.”

On Friday Afternoon, Eminem shared a story centered around the anecdote, along with lyrics from Souls of Mischief’s “Never No More.” The song comes from Souls Of Mischief’s 93 Til Infinity masterpiece.

“If I had to grip my pad the riffs I’d grab would rip and stab, the kids that sad, the shit that’s drab and flavorless,” Eminem wrote. “You’re up Andre!”

Hieroglyphics features all four members of Souls of Mischief, as well as Del the Funky Homosapien, Casual, DJ Toure, Domino and Pep Love.

During that same interview with Rubin, 3000 shared he wasn’t working on any new music.
Quote
“My focus is not there. My confidence is not there,” he said. “I tinker a lot…I haven’t been motivated to do a serious project. I’d like to, but it’s just not coming.”
