Because of legal problems, Kodak Black has been away from music in recent times. He pleaded guilty to federal weapons charges stemming from an altercation in front of the Florida artist party at Miami's Rolling Loud Festival in May.

Kodak's sentencing is currently scheduled for 13 November and faces up to 8 years in prison. The rapper is charged with using false federal forms information to buy three firearms from a Miami gun shop.

Authorities claimed that the scene of a shooting in Pompano Beach, Florida, found one of those weapons. He had previously applied for the same charges in a non-guilty plea.
