Lil Wayne and his crew have been teasing the release of Tha Carter VI for a long while now but in typical Wayne fashion, following every announcement of the album “coming soon“, there are no new updates about it for a while.

The last Wayne single was ‘Kant Nobody‘ which dropped in February and since then we’ve gotten a bunch of features, but no news about the album.

Today, Weezy drops off the next single from C6, ‘Kat Food’. It was revealed in a video Lil Wayne did with the NFL on social media that some believe may have alluded to a September 29th release date for the LP, but that remains to be seen.
