Russ has had a pretty strong year, with his latest album SANTIAGO receiving critical acclaim and narrowly missing the top 10 spot on the Billboard 200 chart.

He followed up the album with a short film of the same name, which had a limited theatrical release. Now, before he goes into his next era, the Atlanta-based rapper and singer is tapping back into his rapping roots with a freestyle named ‘Said It’.

Russ lets his thoughts go over a sample-driven instrumental that could remind you of some of Drake’s time stamp joints. Listen below.
