Lil Wayne has just released his new Funeral album, which is his 13th effort in solo studio. The drop was a bit shaky, with streaming services being delayed by a few hours but YouTube Music having it up early, but without some unexpected obstacles it would not be a release of Wayne's album.

The production credits for Wayne albums have always looked crazy but this time around, although there are some big names, the credits includes some upcoming and lesser producers too. Mannie Fresh, Mike WiLL Made It, STREETRUNNER, Jahlil Beats, Ben Billions, Murda Beatz and Cool & Dre are some of the A-listers.

Funeral was first mentioned in November of 2016, more than three years ago, but tonight it finally arrives after all the teases. With Wayne, you nener know what album you’re getting because the rapper records a whole lot of music and then lets his team handle the tracklisting, marketing etc. Basically everything around an album’s release.
