It’s been a long year and a half since we heard anything from Wale. He’s stepped away from music (publicly at least) and has taken a break from his social media accounts too, which isn’t surprising considering it seemed to be a source of stress for him.

Now, after inking a deal with Def Jam a few months ago (and announcing it only today), he’s back.

Wale returns with a new single called ‘Max Julien’, named after the actor, sculptor, and fashion designer who was a Washington, D.C., resident just like Wale. Hear the solid track below.
