After teasing it over social media a few weeks ago, 50 Cent released his new song ‘Part of The Game’ on streaming services last week.

As we’ve noted before, the throwback sounding track serves as the official theme song for his upcoming Power Book III: Raising Kanan series which is in production at Starz right now and expected to debut in Summer of 2021.

You can watch the official trailer below. Set in the ’90s, the prequel series tracks the early years of 50 Cent’s Power character Kanan, who died after being set up by Ghost (Omari Hardwick), Tasha (Naturi Naughton), and Tariq (Michael Rainey Jr.).



Mekai Curtis stars as a young Kanan in the new series, joined by other cast that includes Omar Epps (House), London Brown (Ballers), and Joey Bada$$ (Mr. Robot).

Today, 50 has released the official music video for the solid new song that features NLE Choppa and Rileyy Lanez. It’s directed by Eif Rivera and 50 himself, and includes some scenes from the upcoming series. Watch it below.
