The embattled Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, also known as Baba Ijesha, has reportedly been granted bail by the Lagos State Police Command.
Consider the following: After being arrested for suspected sexual molestation of a 14-year-old child, Baba Ijesha has been detained for weeks.
His lawyer, Adesina Ogunlana, reported the news on Monday, according to The Nation.
“About an hour ago, Baba Ijesha was granted bail. We're also fine-tuning the bail. On the basis of his fitness, he was given bail.
“He hasn’t been released. He will be released after his bail conditions have been met,” the paper quoted his lawyer as saying.
