The father of Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Mercy Aigbe is dead. Aigbe is popular for her exceptional role interpretations in Yoruba movies. The married actress was, however, in the news for the wrong reason earlier in the year after reports emerged that she is a victim of domestic violence.

The beautiful actress and mother of three children filed a lawsuit against her husband which was backed up by the Lagos state government.

It was learnt from her hotelier husband that the case has been settled out of court.
The actress took to her Instagram page on Monday to announce his death. The 38-year-old actress wrote on her page, “Rest On Dad”.
