The Design and Display

Where the Huawei Nova 6 and the Nova 6 5G features the same design, the Huawei Nova SE dares to be different. Well, it introduces a new design to Huawei smartphones, but generalizing the design, you get to find some cliches.

The front of the smartphone features a 6.4 inch LTPS IPS LCD display, with a hole-punch camera. Bezels here are minimal, with the bezels on the chin being the biggest of all sides.

The display on the Huawei Nova 6 SE has a screen resolution of 1080 x 2310 pixels and a screen resolution of 398PPI.

The rear of the is home to gradient design, a camera module that resembles that of the iPhone 11 and the iPhone 11 pro. The rear of this smartphone is also home to the Huawei Logo, which indicates is a Huawei Smartphone.

For color variants, the Huawei Nova 6 SE comes offers a trio of options. It comes in Black, Emerald Green, Light Pink/Blue.

The Cameras

The Huawei Nova SE houses impressive camera hardware, with an impressive quad-camera system on the rear. This camera system provides a wide range of options for taking photographs and videos.

The quad-camera system on the rear is home to a 48MP primary camera with an aperture of f/1.8, an 8MP ultrawide camera with an aperture of f/2.4, a 2MP macro camera with an aperture of f/2.4 and a 2MP depth camera with an aperture of f/2.4.

This camera system is capable of taking photos in HDR, Panorama, 4k videos at 30fpps and 1080p videos at 30fps.

The front-facing camera on the Huawei Nova 6 SE is a 16MP camera with an aperture of f/2.0. This camera is capable of taking photos in HDR and also 1080p videos with frame rates maxed at 30fps.

Hardware and Software
The Huawei Nova 6 SE features capable specs, that lets the user perform a lot of power-intensive tasks, including playing high-end games, multitasking and lots more.

It features a 7-nanometer Octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 810 processor and a Mali-G52 MP6 graphics processor.

The also features an 8GB RAM, 128GB of internal storage, with up to 256GB of internal storage. The smartphone features a non-removable 4200mAh Li-Po battery. It has support for 40W fast charging.

For software, the Huawei Nova 6 SE runs the EMUI 10 interface on top of the Android 10 operating system.

Connectivity
The Huawei Nova 6 SE features a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB Type C port (2.0), dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 and NFC.

As mentioned earlier, the variant of the Hi-Silicon Kirin 990 processor featured on the Huawei Nova 6 is the non 5G variant, for this reason, internet connectivity here is capped at 4G LTE.

For Nigerians, Huawei Nova 6 SE has support for MTN, Airtel and 9Mobile 4G network.

The Huawei Nova 6 SE is expected to go on sale for a speculated price of $311, which is about 112,000 Naira.

The Huawei Nova SE will go on sale on December 18 and would be available for purchase from offline and online retail stores.
