The Design and Display
Lenovo is playing it safe with the design on the Z6 Lite. The setup here is pretty basic and basically what we have seen on a lot of Mobile phones in this category. Not forgetting the Lenovo Z6 Youth, which features the same design as the Lenovo Z6 Lite.

The Android smartphone features a plastic build. There is plastic on the rear and on the frames. Its rear side houses triple cameras, a camera flash, a capacitive fingerprint sensor, and the Lenovo branding, indicating it’s a Lenovo smartphone.

Upfront, there is a 6.3-inch display. This display is a full HD display with a screen resolution of 2340 x 1080. This display has full support for HDR10 content, something that isn’t seen on smartphones in the price range.

The display has a waterdrop notch. This notch is home to a front-facing camera and an earpiece.

The Lenovo Z6 Lite has two color options to choose from. Color options may end up being a dilemma if you don’t like any to them. It comes in Red and Green.

The Cameras
Making comparisons with mid-range smartphones like Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro, the cameras on the Lenovo Z6 Lite may not be the most exciting, but they are certainly worth it since Lenovo didn’t plan on featuring camera hardware that may end up being a gimmick.

It features a triple camera system on the rear. This triple camera system is home to a 16MP primary camera with a 16MP primary camera with an aperture of f/1.8, an 8MP telephoto camera with an aperture of f/2.4 and a 5MP wide camera with an aperture of f/2.2.

The triple rear camera system is capable of taking photos in HDR and also shooting videos maxed at 1080p 30fps.

The selfie camera on the Lenovo Z6 Lite makes use of a 16MP camera with an aperture of f/2.0. This camera is capable of taking photos in HDR and also capable of recording 1080p videos with frame rates maxed at 30fps.

Hardware and Software
The Lenovo Z6 Lite falls in the category of the higher mid-range smartphone, which is facilitated by the processor it features. It features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 octa-core processor.

On the software side, the Lenovo Z6 Lite runs ZUI 11 on top of the Android 9 Pie operating system. As at the time the article was written, there was no word on if it would receive the Android 10 upgrade.

Connectivity
The Lenovo Z6 Lite features a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type C (USB 2.0) port, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 and NFC.

Internet connectivity is capped at 4G LTE connectivity. For those in Nigeria, please note that the Lenovo Z6 Lite has support for MTN, Airtel and 9Mobile 4G network.

The price of the Lenovo Z6 Lite is around $177, which is about 64,162 Naira. The Lenovo Z6 Lite is currently available for purchase and can be purchased from retail stores near you, as well as offline retail stores that ship to your region.
