The Vivo X50 Lite was announced in Australia. This is not entirely a new phone as it was announced as Vivo S1 Pro in China last year around May. This is also the rebranded version of the Vivo Y9S. Vivo X50 Lite features a 6.38-inch AMOLED Display and four rear cameras.

The smartphone arrives with some interesting features that include great cameras, enough inbuilt storage, and also a massive battery as well.

Design and Display

The Vivo X50 Lite comes in nice body design. It has a smooth panel that is wrapped with plastic even on the frame. The panel is housing the camera matrix, an LED flash, and also the logo.

It measures 159.3 x 75.2 x 8.7 mm in dimensions and weight under 200 grams. Moving to the front, the phone has a waterdrop notch featuring a 6.38-inch Super AMOLED display.

It has a full 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution, a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and 404 PPI density. It also has an under-display fingerprint scanner for security and display protection as well.

Camera

On the camera department, the Vivo X50 Lite is blessed with an impressive quad cameras set-up and a single front camera. The primary camera consists of 48 MP, 8MP ultrawide camera, 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor.

Since this is a mid-range device, the camera does not support 4K video shooting. Instead, it stopped at 2K video quality. Selfies fanatics will get a front camera of 16 MP on the notch.

Hardware and Software

Behind the wheel is a Qualcomm SDM665 Snapdragon 665 SOC based on 11nm process technology. The chip has an octa-core processor handling its assignment at a speed of 2.0 GHz coupled with Adreno 610 for graphics.

It runs on the Android 10 operating system with Funtouch 10 user interface on top. On paper, the Vivo X50 Lite has an internal storage of 128GB peg at 8GB RAM. Users can still expand the storage using the shared SIM slot on the inside.

Battery and Network

Powering the phone is a large 4500mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. It has a USB port for charging and data transfer.

As for the connectivity options, it has dual-SIM support with 4G LTE, VoLTE, and VoWiFi, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Vivo X50 Lite Price and Availability

The Vivo X50 Lite is now available for purchase in Australia. You can order the phone in Nebula Blue and Jade Black color options and they both come with a gradient color pattern on the rear panel.

As for the price, it has a price tag of about 300 EUR. In Nigeria, the Vivo X50 Lite will sell at a price of 130,000 Naira, while in Ghana, it will cost around 2,000 Ghs and 35,000 Ksh in Kenya.
