The Samsung Galaxy A71 is the better option if you're not sure that the Samsung Galaxy A51 is large enough. Both phones have been announced with a similar design in Vietnam. This device will be Samsung's successor to the A70 and A70S Galaxy. It sports a better processor and specifications with an impressive camera set-up. It also features an Infinity-O display like the Galaxy Note 10.

Design and Display

The Samsung Galaxy A71 looks similar to the Galaxy A51. The device is still built with a premium plastic on the back and a glass on the front. The rear panel house the rectangle camera with an LED flash and the branded logo.

It measures 163.6 x 76 x 7.7 mm in dimensions and weight 179 grams which is still not that heavy considering the big battery. On the front, it comes with a punch hole that hosts the front camera.

The Samsung Galaxy A71 features a 6.7-inch S-AMOLED Infinity-O display that is integrated with a fingerprint reader.

It carries support for a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a tall aspect ratio of 20:9. The screen has display protection and a higher screen to body ratio of 87.2%.

Camera

For photography, the Samsung Galaxy A71 has a rectangular camera module that houses four lenses and an LED flash.

The primary camera consist of an f/1.8 aperture 64-megapixel main lens, an f/2.2 aperture 5-megapixel depth sensor, an f/2.4 aperture 5-megapixel macro lens and lastly an f/2.2 aperture 12-megapixel ultrawide sensor.

For capturing selfies and video calling, it has an f/2.2 aperture 32-megapixel front camera. The primary camera features LED flash, panorama, HDR and can shoot 4K video quality.

Hardware and Software

On the hardware, Samsung Galaxy A71 is blessed with an upper mid-range Snapdragon 730 chipset based on 8 nm process technology with an octa-core processor clocking at a speed of 2.2 GHz.

It has Adreno 618 GPU for graphics and gaming. Powering the whole system is an Android 10 operating system out of the box with One UI 2.0 user interface slapped on top.

The device is available in 6GB and 8GB RAM variants. Both RAM has a native inbuilt storage of 128GB with a dedicated microSD card slot for additional storage.

Battery and Network

The smartphone draws its power from a 4,500mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging. It also has support for Face recognition.

The dual SIM has 4G LTE networks for fast browsing and downloads.

Other connectivity options on the Samsung Galaxy A71 are Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, a hotspot for wireless internet connection, Bluetooth, A-GPS for navigation, FM radio for entertainment, NFC for sharing of data and 2.0, Type-C 1.0 reversible connector for file transfer and charging.

Samsung Galaxy A71 Price And Availability

The Samsung Galaxy A71 price starts at €470 (around 190,000 Naira) in Europe. The official launch date is not yet known.

It will be shipped in multiple colors such as Prism Crush Black, Prism Crush Silver, and Prism Crush Blue.
