It features an all-plastic build. On the rear, there is a single rear-facing camera, a camera flash, a fingerprint sensor, and the Tecno branding, indicating its a Tecno smartphone.

Upfront on the Tecno Spark Youth, there is we have giant bezels guarding the display. This display is an IPS LCD display, with a screen resolution of 720 x 1440. This display has a screen density of 268 ppi.

The Top bezel is home to a selfie flash, an earpiece, and a selfie camera.

It features a single 8MP camera on the rear. This camera lets you take photos in HDR, take Panorama photos and lots more. You can also shoot 720p videos at 30fps with this camera.

For selfies, it features a single 8MP camera, aided by a selfie flash, allowing you to take bright photos in poorly lit conditions.

The hardware specs on the Tecno Spark Youth is nothing to be wowed about. If you desire something that performs well in gaming or allows for mega multi-tasking, this phone is certainly not for you.

It features hardware specs that only favors light operations here. You would be able to surf the net with few tabs open, play basic games and lots more.

The Tecno Spark Youth is powered by a Quad-core Mediatek MT6580 Processor. This processor is a 28nm processor and is clocked at 1.3GHz.

Paired with this processor is 1GB of RAM. This smartphone also features 16GB of internal storage, with support for Micro-SD expansion up to 64GB. For power, there is a removable Li-Ion 4000mAh battery.

On the software side, the Tecno Spark Youth runs Hi-OS 3.3 on top of the Android 8.1 Oreo (Go edition).
