A governorship aspirants on the platform of the All Progressives Congress in Lagos, Femi Hamzat, has step-down from the race.
Speaking to the press in Lagos on Saturday, Hamzat said he took the decision to support the ambition of another aspirant, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
He, therefore, directed his supporters to cast their votes for Sanwo-Olu during the party’s primary on Sunday (tomorrow).
The press conference also had Sanwo-Olu in attendance.
Sanwo-Olu, an ex-commissioner in Lagos State, has been widely touted as Lagos APC bigwig’s preferred candidate to replace incumbent Ambode.
