Osun 2018: Hon. Bunmi Ibiloye Highlighted Some Of His Achievements While In The Public Service Of The Osun State GovernmentHon. Bunmi Ibiloye an aspirant under Accord party in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Osun State has highlighted some of his achievements and programs he facilitated while in the public service of the Osun state government before his retirement in August 2017.
The achievements are as follows; 1. Establishment of World bank assisted community and social development project (CSDP) in Osun state in 2007 with the State benefiting over #7billion assistance from then till date on various priority needs of communities ranging from rural & urban electrification, town halls, water projects, health centers to mention but a few.
2. Establishment of Grooming Micro finance outfit in Osun State in 2014 with the aim of empowering our women folk to improve their income through their trades and vocations. A sum of #600million was distributed same year to a total of 18,000 women at 600 women per LG. As at today, Grooming Microfinance outfit has injected over #2billion into the economy of the State through soft loans to Women.
3. Facilitated the provision of 366 handpump boreholes to 128 rural and urban communities across the 30 local governments and Area office of the State.
4. Organized the first World Class Roundtable Conference in the State in year 2006 which led to the extent of support given to Osun State by Development Partners throughout the World till today especially from UNICEF.
5. Facilitate the construction of 122 capital projects in 122 communities across the 30 local governments and Area office of the State ranging from Civic centers, Palm oil and Gaari processing Centers, health centers, blocks of Classrooms to mention but a few.
6. Training /Empowerment of Farmers on improved Farming System through the provision of farm implements.
7. Training/ Empowerment of youths on Income generating activities and so on.
8. Facilitated the formulation and packaging of a master plan for community development in Osun State.
He stated all these during an interview with him.
He has done all these as a civil servant; don't you think he will do more if elected as the Governor?
