Previous Vice President Atiku Abubakar on Saturday wished Nigerians a Merry Christmas. In a message on his Twitter handle, the previous VP encouraged Nigerians to be enthusiastic and steadfast.

Atiku stated: [i]"My absolute best wishes to our Christian siblings and sisters as you observe Christmas. "Similar to the training in my family, we will join our Christian companions in their festivals, and I urge all Nigerians to do same."[/i]
