My fellow citizens and the engine room of the Nigerian economic hub, let me join billions of workers all over the world to celebrate this very great auspicious day to identify with the goose that lay the gold egg.

As you all are aware, a labourer is worthy of his wages because the reward for labor is wages and salary so it is incumbent on government all over the world to pay the worker not only fair wages but to also pay it on time. The era of owing salaries is not only irresponsible of any government, it is also callous and ungodly.

Furthermore, the working environment and work conditions must be conducive for productive engagement and maximum productivity of the worker. Welfare for the average worker is also paramount as no worker can perform near optimum when his health and safety is  in jeopardy.

What is more, every worker must be able to retire to a comfortable life which is why government should computerize the payment schedule so that a worker who has served his nation meritoriously and diligently should be entitled Pronto to his retirement package within a few days of retirement. Indeed it is most unfair that a worker who is no longer in active service and perhaps advanced in age should begin to exert energy and precious time to pursue that which is rightly his or hers.

Let me assure our Nigerian worker that I am aware of their needs and being an employer of labor myself I understand what it is to cater for an employee. I therefore intend to place the worker on priority list and as strategic development partners once we come on board.

Once again accept the best assurances of our good intentions as we celebrate the great Nigerian worker.
E soleto, E Africa.
