A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bello Bashiru has said the exit of Olagunsoye Oyinlola from the gathering won't influence its triumph in the coming Osun gubernatorial decision.
Bashiru told NAN on Monday that Oyinlola has lost his significance and that APC would win the Sept. 22 decision in the state.
He stated: "The gathering is greater than anyone, Oyinlola was not with us when we won the 2010 race.
"His effect in the triumph of the gathering in 2014 race when he joined APC couple of weeks to the race the extent that I am concerned, was exceptionally insignificant.
"As far back as his exit from the gathering, more individuals have begun joining APC in Odo-Otin Local Government where myself and Oyinlola originate from.
"One thing I am certain of is that the accomplishment of the gathering in the decision without him is ensured."
