Tinubu is the All Progressives Congress (APC)'s presidential candidate. At the APC Presidential Campaign rally on Wednesday at the MKO Abiola International Stadium in Abeokuta, Tinubu spoke in Yoruba. He claimed that some unidentified members of a cabal in the presidency and the APC who were of northern ancestry had begun plotting to discredit Tinubu, Shettima, and the APC in an effort to have another northern president succeed Buhari after eight years in power. He said, Quote “Even if they said there is no fuel, we will trek to vote. They have a lot of mischief; they could say there is no fuel. They have been scheming to create a fuel crisis, but forget about it. Tinubu added. At the APC presidential campaign rally which neither had the national chairman, Adamu Abdullahi nor any APC governors from the north in attendance, Tinubu said that he really understood the northern agenda towards him and APC, but believed that he would win in the long run even with all their political antics. Quote The great Nigerian youths, the great Nigerian students, the confident Nigerian youths, this is a revolution. This election is a revolution. They are plotting, but they will fail.
