Yahaya Bello was re-elected as Kogi State Governor.
On Monday, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced the candidate for governorship of the All Progressive Congress (APC) as the winner of the governorship election held in the state on Saturday, November, reports Punch.
Governor Bello polled a total of 406,222 votes to defeat his major opponent, Musa Wada of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who polled 189,704 votes to emerge second.
The returning governor and his wife celebrated the election at the Kogi State Government House.
