Dino Melaye Suffers Severe Asthma Attack As He Slumped At The Police Headquarters After Eight-Day Seige In His House. Shortly after he slumped at the police headquarters Abuja, embattled Senator Dino Melaye was rushed to the police clinic in Garki, Abuja.

Dino Melaye Yesterday surrendered to the police after an 8-day siege at his Abuja home.

The Senator representing Kogi West at the National Assembly, Dino Melaye slumped as he entered the Special Anti-Robbery Squad headquarters in Abuja.

In a video by Channels Television, Melaye is seen being helped into the vehicle by some people around him, with some saying, “Give him water.”

On arrival at the Force HQ, the video shows him being helped out of the vehicle by two persons who take him into an office, where he is laid on the floor.



It would seem that the senator had an asthma attack as he was seen wheezing and coughing hard and his lawyer, Mike Ozekhome frantically rushes to administer his inhaler to him.

A statement released by the police says Melaye is now in a stable condition. Investigation into the case of criminal conspiracy and attempted culpable homicide against him is on-going and that the case will be taken to court on completion of investigation.
