A former Kogi state governor, Idris Wada, is now in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The arrest, effected on Monday, occurred after the anti-graft agency traced N500m to Wada.
According to the EFCC, the N500m is a part of the larger N23bn disbursed by embattled former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke through then Director of Finance of the Goodluck Jonathan Campaign Organisation, Senator Nenadi Usman.
