This is Buhari’s first visit to Nigeria’s former capital since he was sworn in as commander in chief on 19 May, 2015. The Nigerian leader is expected to inaugurate and inspect some projects during his visit. The president would inaugurate the Ikeja Bus Terminal which is expected to commute more than 100,000 residents across 23 bus routes in the state. Also, Buhari is expected to attend the flag-off ceremony for the construction of the Lekki Deep Sea Port project. He is also expected to inspect the ongoing construction works at the Eko Atlantic City, Victoria Island. Furthermore, Buhari is billed to attend a colloquium organised to mark the 66th Birthday of National Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu.
