The Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo will continue as the acting president of Nigeria while President Buhari continues to recuperate.

President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday revealed that he will continue his rest at the state villa after arriving Nigeria on Friday morning. He said his rest will continue this weekend and sent back a delegation that had planned to come and welcome him.
 
According to Buhari, the Vice-President, Yemi Osinbajo would continue to work while he continues his rest. Buhari spoke at a meeting he held with government officials shortly after arriving the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
 
The President also hinted that he would be doing some follow-ups on his health in a few weeks.
 
Buhari expressed gratitude to all those who prayed for him during his time in London, and asked for more prayers.
 
He said he was feeling better, but still needed to rest.
