The meeting, which took place at the Aguda House, Presidential Villa, Abuja, lasted for more an hour. Details of the meeting was not made immediately known to newsmen. However, a senior protocol officer attached to the Office of the acting president disclosed that the Ghanaian president was on a private visit to Nigeria. It would be recalled that Akufo-Addo first visited Nigeria on December 19, 2016, where he met with President Muhammadu Buhari in the Presidential Villa, Abuja. Akufo-Addo later attended the Imo State Thanksgiving Day in Owerri.
