Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress, APC, has responded to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo's successful operation.

Osinbajo was wishing a quick recovery by Tinubu.

Osinbajo had surgery on his leg as a result of persistent pain.

It is thought that the pain was brought on by a squash injury.
This was confirmed by his spokesperson, Laolu Akande, in a statement on Saturday.

In response, Tinubu, who called Osinbajo his "good friend," prayed for a speedy and straightforward recovery from the procedure.

In a tweet, Tinubu wrote: “I wish my good friend @ProfOsinbajo a quick and uncomplicated recovery as he recuperates from his recent, successful surgery.

“May God Almighty grant him complete healing.”
