Akpabio, made this known in a letter on August 4, and addressed to the Senate Deputy Minority Leader, Emmanuel Bwacha. He, however, did not disclose any reason for his resignation. But the former governor of oil-rich Akwa Ibom thanked the senate leadership and referred to the PDP as “our great party”.
