Date changed from 25th to 27th.... Note please.

National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS)

         SEAL OF THE PRESIDENT.
          22/05/2021.

 UPDATE ON ASUP STRIKE.

Combatant Greetings.
The leadership of National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) being the umbrella body for all institutions awarding ND/HND cut across the six (6) geo-political zones of the federation wishes to commend the calmness, resilience and high level of tolerance exhibited by the Polytechnic students with respect to the lingering ASUP strike, we have no doubt given them enough chance to settle their differences not even minding our time wasted, may posterity be kind to us.

With respect to our previous Press statement calling for a peaceful protest to the Federal Ministry of Education Abuja on Tuesday 25th May 2021, we received numerous appeal from students, leaders and stakeholders  in Zone B to reschedule for days before or after NANS Zone B Students Legislative Summit in order to allow students participate in both the Zone B Students Legislative Summit in portharcourt Rivers State and as well the protest in Abuja against the continued closure of Polytechnic classes.

After extensive deliberation with all and sundry, we humbly seize this medium to inform the general public that the NAPS protest earlier scheduled for Tuesday 25th May has been rescheduled for Thursday 27th May 2021, same venue, same time!

Remember to come along with your Nose mask, School identity card and your writing materials as we get set to resume academic activities at the Federal Ministry of Education if they (FG & ASUP) refuse to call off on or before the said date.

While we anticipate the reopening of classes or otherwise our peaceful agitation, kindly accept our esteem regards as we wish you all a blissful weekend ahead.

Aluta Continua, Victoria Acerta!

Signed,
Activist Sunday A. Asuku GCNPS,
National President (NAPS)
