Fed Poly Offa HND Form For 2020/2021: Entry Requirements & Registration Details

The Federal Polytechnic, Offa invites applications to its Full-Time Higher National Diploma (HND) Morning & Evening, and Part-Time Higher National Diploma (HND) programs for the academic session 2020/2021 from suitably eligible applicants. Applicant should visit any nearby Computer center for your registration.

The entry requirements for all Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes are as follow:

☀️ Candidates are required to Possess National Diploma (ND) in their chosen programme at not below LOWER CREDIT Classification from a recognized/accredited Polytechnic.

☀️ Candidates are to possess at least five (5) relevant O’level credits including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two (2) sittings from such examinations as SSC, GCE O’Level, NTC/NBC (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB O’level examinations)

☀️ Candidates are required to have at least one year post National Diploma industrial training experience.

☀️ The National Technical Certificate (NTC) or National Business Certificate (NBC) with credit level pass in a trade plus four relevant academic subjects which must include English Language and Mathematics.

However, candidates with PASS grade at the ND/NID are eligible for consideration for admission provided they have minimum of two (2) years post Industrial Training experience.

Every applicant for the Polytechnic HND Programme who did not obtain his/her ND from the Federal Polytechnic Offa are required to forward a copy of his/her National Diploma Transcript to the Office of the Registrar, within Eight ( weeks from the date of this advertisement.

Higher National Diploma (HND) Part-Time

Three (3) years of six Semesters (Evening and weekend) programmes are available in all the courses as obtainable in the HND Full-Time except in Architectural Technology.

Please note that the HND Part-Time programmes are primarily for the working class; who for reason of employment cannot attend regular HND programmes. It is also important to note that PT HND GRADUATES ARE EXEMPTED from participating in the National Youth Service (NYSC) Scheme.

All candidates are to upload their results, certificates/credentials on the portal of the Polytechnic www.fpo.edu.ng Candidates must also fill the security form on the Polytechnic portal.

NOTE that failure to comply with this procedure, leads to disqualification of such candidate and false claims shall lead to forfeiture of the admission at any time same is discovered.
