2023 Hajj ; 1st batch of 387 Osun pilgrims successfully landed in Lagos,from Saudi Arabia, Amir Hajj, Sheik.

Osun state muslim pilgrims welfare board has congratulated the teeming Muslim pilgrims from the state over the successful completion of this year's Hajj in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia as the first batch of the male and female contingent comprising 387 pilgrims have successfully landed in Lagos.
The Secretary of the Board Mr Bolaji Sanni in a press statement issued to newsmen on behalf of the Amir Hajj, Sheik Moruf Ishola disclosed this in the early hours of today.
In the statement,Sheik Ishola also disclosed that the second batch of 385 contingent has already departed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and due to land at Murtala Muhammed International Airport,Lagos, any moment from now.
Expressing his delight over the development,Sheik Ishola described the successful completion of all Hajj rites in 2023 by the Osun muslim contingent as a thing of joy and total glorification to almighty Allah for His love and mercies on the male and female pilgrims.
While particularly thanking and appreciating almighty Allah , the Amir Hajj similarly appreciated the governor of Osun state, Senator Ademola Adeleke for graciously approving and providing all the necessary wherewithal that culminated into the success story of the holy journey to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
In the meantime, a cross section of the male and female pilgrims who also acknowledged the successful completion of all the Hajj rites in the holy land also appreciated Allah and the government of Osun state through the state Muslims pilgrims welfare board for making it easy and comfortable for them to serve Allah and His prophet, Mohammad ( PUH) in Makkah and Madinah successfully.
Meanwhile, the remaining new Alhajis and Alhajas are looking forward to be airlifted in the coming days from Jiddah International airport in Saudi Arabia as the Osun state Muslim pilgrims welfare board in conjunction with the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria( NAHCON) are not leaving any stone unturned to make the return journey back home a hitch free.
