This was revealed by the U.S. Mission Country Consular Coordinator, Susan Tuller on Friday, April 30. According to Tuller, the Abuja Embassy and Lagos Consulate General will work towards assisting student visa applicants in a timely fashion while ensuring its personnel and customers' safety. She added that the mission will increase the number of student visa appointments in May and June to ensure that appointments are given to as many students as possible while advising students whose studies are scheduled to commence this fall to book an appointment as quickly as possible. Ms. Tuller explained that all student visa appointments must be booked through the U.S. Travel Docs website at www.ustraveldocs.com/ng/. She warned applicants against the use of third-party services, including touts, and fixers who broker visa appointments, as they may not always provide the correct information, which can harm an applicant’s chances of qualifying for the visa.
