Manchester United co-owner, Jim Ratcliffe, met with Thomas Tuchel in Monaco, France this week.

Tuchel is on the market after he was dismissed at Bayern Munich this summer.

Ratcliffe is still reviewing United’s last season and manager Erik ten Hag’s future remains uncertain.

During the meeting, Tuchel laid out his plans if he were to take over as United manager, according to Sky Germany.

Tuchel explained to Ratcliffe how he would sort out United’s sporting problems like Jadon Sancho and Mason Mount.

The former Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain boss cited Antonio Rüdiger as an example that he has already succeeded in the past at getting players with great potential back to top performance.
