EPL: It’ll be difficult – New Man United manager, Ten Hag makes honest confession.
New Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag, has admitted that it would be difficult for him to leave Ajax after spending over five years at the club.
Ten Hag said this while reacting to his appointment as Man United’s new manager.
The Dutchman, who will assume his role at Man United at the end of this season, will remain at Old Trafford until June 2025, with the option to extend for a further year.
Reacting, Ten Hag was quoted by Man United’s official website as saying: “It’s a great honour to be appointed manager of Manchester United and I am hugely excited by the challenge ahead.
I know the history of this great club and the passion of the fans, and I am absolutely determined to develop a team capable of delivering the success they deserve.
“It will be difficult to leave Ajax after these incredible years, and I can assure our fans of my complete commitment and focus on bringing this season to a successful conclusion before I move to Manchester United.”
Ten Hag will leave Ajax at the end of the season.
