Slavia head coach, Jindřich Trpišovský, has slammed Super Eagles forward, Peter Olayinka, after his erratic behaviour, which led to his dismissal as his team played a 2-2 draw with FC Slovan Liberec in the Fortuna Liga on Saturday.
Olayinka overreacted after he was fouled in the box, headbutting a Slovan Liberec player, and was sent off by the referee during the encounter.
He will now miss Slavia Prague’s upcoming games after he was red-carded in the closing minutes against Liberec.
Speaking at his post-match press conference, Trpišovský said there was no reason for such a reaction from the Nigerian star.
“We will deal with it clearly. It was when we were leading 2-1, there is no reason for such a reaction,” Trpišovský told the club’s official website.
“There was no reason for such a reaction, whether he was fouled or not, that’s a question, a matter for judgment, but he cannot react like that. It is one thing that he sent us into the ten which caused how we finished, another thing is that we’ll miss him in the next games.
We’ll definitely deal with it with him, I wonder what the reason is that he reacted like that in the first place.”
