Imole De' Palliative Bus:Residents/Commuters Laud Gov Adeleke for Sustenance.

Residents of Osogbo and other towns in Osun State have lauded the administration of Senator Ademola Adeleke for sustaining the operation of the 'Imole De' palliative buses rolled out to cushion the effects of the removal of fuel subsidy.

They commended the Governor for making efforts to ensure that the buses remain on the roads to assist members of the public .

A ride by Osunnewsroom crew in the buses plying Abere-Olaita-Ayetoro-Stadium-Ota Efun and back to Abere shows that the buses have really been helpful to residents moving from one point to another.

Civil Servants and other residents of the State Capital were seen boarding the buses because of its subsidised rate anytime it stops to either drop or pick more passengers.

One of the passengers who joined the bus at Ayetoro junction, Mrs Moji Adewale described the services as a saving grace for her everyday because ,according to her, she waits for the bus everyday while going home.

While describing the continued operation of the buses as very good and cost saving for her, Mrs Adenle commended the Governor for sustaining the effort and for keeping to his campaign promise of putting smiles on the faces of the masses.

Mr Kola Oladeji, a Civil Servant who joined the bus at the State Secretariat on his way home said the bus has helped in reducing his transport fare to work everyday as he now wait for the bus everyday.

"Sustaining the operation of this buses shows that we have a Governor who feels the pains of the masses and he is indeed people friendly and have our interest at heart". He stated.

Speaking with the Commissioner for Transportation, Hon. Sesan Oyedele in his office, he urged residents of the State to see the buses as their own, while assuring that their operations will not stop.
