Individual members from the National Working Committee, NWC of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, on Thursday raged the National Assembly to challenge the indicated assault on Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State by officers of the Nigeria Police.

The challenge was driven by the National Chairman of the gathering, Uche Secondus.

Likewise at the challenge, which held at the primary entryway to the National Assembly Complex was a previous Senate President, Adolphus Wabara; previous Minister of Health, Prof. ABC Nwosu; a previous National Woman Leader, Josephine Anenih; and previous Majority Leader of the Senate, Mulikat Akande-Adeola, among others.

The nonconformists were gotten by the Deputy President of the Senate, Ike Ekweremadu.

They requested a free, reasonable and tenable governorship election in Ekiti on Saturday.
