The Senate President said this when he paid a condolence visit to the family of the deceased in Ede, Osun State. He urged members of the family to sustain the legacies Senator Adeleke left behind, saying the departed lawmaker was admired and loved by all at the National Assembly. “It’s really a great shock and we are still in shock because I still spoke with him few days ago, it’s a big loss and he was a very friendly person because everybody loved him. “He was very patriotic, always had a good smile on his face, a grassroots politician, and he was always for peace and was concerned about building Nigeria. “The family just have to find strength and accept the loss by ensuring that the things he left undone be done. The people and the family should take faith because I know that those who have benefited from his largesse are all worried about what will happen to them since Senator Adeleke is no more, I pray the almighty Allah will provide for them. “I pray the almighty Allah to forgive his sins and give the family the grace to bear the loss. And because Senator Adeleke was a man who wanted peace, and wanted to build his state, I appeal to the people of the state to live in peace and harmony for those who love Isiaka Adeleke,” he urged. Senator Adeleke who died on Sunday morning was buried at his country home in Ede town. Before his death, he was representing Osun West Senatorial District at the Senate under the platform of the All Progressive Congress.
