The parent of the boy killed by nigeria police during #EndSars protest in oyo, Jimoh Isiaq will receive the total sum of #1 million from contribution given to the #endsars protesters tomorrow just to show their condolences to the death of their son.
The boy was killed today during the #endsars in ogbomosho by some suspected police officers and he has since been buried accordingly to the Muslim Burlington rite.
The painful thing about Jimoh Isiaq's death is that he wasn't even protesting. He was an onlooker. This is what bad policing does - it affects us all, no matter how we try to avoid it. This is why we must #EndSARS and push for an overhaul of the Nigerian Police.
This is the message that was passed today by one of the protesters that confirmed that the boy's parents will be given #1 million naira.
"We will be giving a million naira out of this to the parents of Jimoh Isiaq.
We can’t compensate for their loss. We just want them to know we stand with them in spirit and he didn’t die in vain.
