Video of alleged FSARS officials arresting a man hours after they were barred by the IGP in Edo state.

Recall that Mohammed Adamu, the Inspector-General of Police, has banned the personnel of the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad from routine patrols, The PUNCH reports.

He also banned and other Tactical Squads of the Force including the Special Tactical Squad, Intelligence Response Team, Anti-Cultism Squad and other Tactical Squads operating at the Federal, Zonal, and Command levels, from carrying out routine patrols.

A video of FSARS officials arresting a yet-to-be-identified man appeared online hours after the police inspector general, Adamu Mohammed, prohibited their operations.

Solomon Okonkwo, a Twitter user who identifies himself as a human rights activist, posted the video online and said the incident took place at Urora Junction, Benin City, in Edo state, on the morning of 5 October.
