A former Vice President and ex-presidential aspirant for the ticket of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has declared that despite its limitations and challenges, there is no other form of government anywhere in the world better than democracy.
Atiku made the remark yesterday in a statement from his media office in Abuja, to commemorate this year’s Democracy Day in Nigeria.

Pointing out that freedom of choice was one of the most important ingredients of the democratic system, he stated that the freedom to choose leaders makes democracy fashionable.


The message added that as ”an active participant in the democratic struggle in Nigeria and an ardent proponent of the rule of law, rather than the rule of man, Atiku recognises the sacrifices of gallant Nigerians whose struggles brought the country to the current stage.
